US-Based Composite Engineering & Consulting Company Powersports Consulting LLC is joining DLE

20 Oct 2023

Las Vegas, United States of America – Today we are welcoming Powersports Consulting LLC with their PSC Composites Division as the latest member of the Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE). By engaging with DLE members, the company can help other members in prototyping and mass-production of continuous fibres components for the drone delivery industry. From roll-wrapped tubes to filament winding and thermoplastic tape winding – they offer a wide array of technical solutions for innovative products.

“Our company started 2015 in the powersports industry (Motorcycles, ATV, Snowmobiles, etc) with internal engine components. Quickly we moved from engine parts into driveline parts for composite driveshafts and structural components for high performance automotive applications. Since then, we have continuously expanded our composites footprint and have now strong partnerships with 3 expert carbon fiber design and manufacturing companies from Germany – who are represented by PSC Composites. Instead of standard catalogue products, we differentiate ourselves by providing fully engineered solutions that meet exactly our client’s product development needs. This kind of service for engineered structural lightweight components has not been offered to this extent in the drone & eVTOL market and we promote this added value as our strongest selling point together with the highest quality products. Our recent exhibition at Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas, Sept.2023 has confirmed the growing need for our services and we are happy to support any global new product development with our expertise.” Said Mr Kai-Peter Berndt CEO of Powersports Consulting LLC.

Drone Logistics Ecosystem

DLE is a global/virtual network of Companies, Universities, the Public/Governments, and Investors operating in the drone logistics industry. The aim of the DLE is to bring together stakeholders to collaborate to stimulate standardization in this rapidly emerging industry. Hence, accelerating cross-border marketing and commercialization of products and services of its members. Since most of the companies in this industry are early-stage start-ups with limited access to funding, manpower and expertise, DLE is the ideal platform for companies to share their expertise to co-develop products and services and/or acquire necessary cross-border market access in partnership with other members.

In the past 2 years, DLE has expanded to include 57 organizations, consisting of 53 companies, 2 universities and world's largest drone association, Japan UAS Industrial Development Association, across 24 different countries. In a short period of time, we have been able to generate several international proof-of-concept projects with a few commercialization prospects in the pipeline. The pandemic has restricted our movement and DLE has been a great tool for our members to streamline communication and product development. We are in the process to create a commercialization model to help our members reach the market faster in partnership with other members.
